Classification of Edelweiss Flowers Using Data Augmentation and Linear Discriminant Analysis Methods

Edelweiss is a plant that grows at height, and known as perennial flower because it has beautiful petals does not wilt easily. Although edelweiss in Indonesia still the same family Leontopodium Alpinum, turns out type of found mountains different from abroad. Therefore, this study, an image processing system was developed can classify types flowers based on their using Linear Discriminant Analysis to data into several classes boundary line (straight line) obtained linear equations. In used study were Anaphalis Javanica two distinguished color characteristics hue saturation values. The images are 1500 for training 450 test with ratio 70:30, so accuracy produced testing process 99.77% method.
